I have been working in Mental Health for over a decade and have been providing psychological services at my clinical practice since January of 2013. I received both my Master’s Degree and Doctorate of Clinical-Community Psychology (Psy.D) from the University of La Verne and completed my Internship/Residency at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Department of Psychology and Behavioral Medicine. I have taught and supervised graduate psychology students in assessment and advanced therapy skills and provided consultation for multidisciplinary teams of Pediatricians, Substance Abuse Counselors, Psychiatrists, Social Workers, and School Educators. I have been a part time faculty at Prescott College and I am currently an off-campus mentor at Prescott College. I also supervise year-long practicum doctoral level psychological students at Midwestern University. I am a solution-focused psychologist who integrates evidence based practices into the therapy sessions. I use a collaborative therapeutic approach, often pulling from humanistic and attachment theories to provide a strengths-based framework that focuses on increasing each individual’s awareness of his or her inner resiliency in overcoming challenges.
